_"Hey, does Doe seem different to you, somehow?" _You see Isaac ask, like he did to you.

_"I do think it's weird that he's talking to Sasha Pierce. She's never that nice to me." _Hey! That's your voice!

_"And he's always staying after class with Ms. Woods, when before he was a straight B student. But maybe I'm just pocket watching." _Oh, this is how things would have gone if future you hadn't shown up.

"Guys. If you think John is secretly a **** dealer, just ask him! As long as he doesn't think you're wearing a wire, he probably won't hurt you."

Future Jacob fast forwards through the hour of the two of you talking. The bell rings. "Weird that Rachel never came back."

_"Yeah, she left her stuff here, too. I've got it." _You watch yourself walk over to Sasha's table. Both John and Sasha are gone. A sinking feeling appears in your gut.

"Oh, they went to Ms. Woods' room to study. Check there?"
