Meeting Up With a Fellow Hero

The fog starts to lift as Amy remembers what she'd been doing. Another hero had reached out to her. A young asian woman, like herself who went by the name of Crimson Blink. They'd met up in the middle of the night on a rooftop to discuss working together. The other woman had been waiting when she arrived, dressed in a red leather costume, hair dyed bright red as well, only a black domino mask breaking up the motif.

Then, nothing. It had to have been a set up. Furious Amy renews her struggles against her bindings, to no avail. Behind her she suddenly heard clapping. Looking back from the corner of her eye she could see a young black man in a nice suit approaching her, Red Blink by his side. "Good effort She-Dragon." He chuckled.

"Who are you?" She snapped back.

Now directly behind her he leans forward and whispers, "You can call me master."

"The fuck I will. Why don't you say that to my face?"

The man chuckles again. "Planning to burn me?" To her surprise he steps around in front of her, holding his arms out to each side. "Go ahead."

Even knowing there's some kind of trick Amy takes a deep breath and tries to burn the man. The usual heat in her chest happens, but when she exhales only a low fire gushes out, dissipating feet from the man. "What did you do to me you bastard?" She demands.

He smiles. "I adjusted your power."

"You mean you weakened me. Why?"

"Oh no. Nothing like that, sweet heart. In fact, I made you stronger. Your power just won't work on me anymore."

"Liar." She hisses.

He steps out of her way and gestures forward, "Try it."

Amy hesitates a moment, then breathes in deep and exhales. A torrent of blue and red fire erupts with so much **** the concrete building shakes slightly. "Jesus." Amy whispers.

"See. I'm not a bad guy, I helped Blinky Bitch here as well. It used to take her minutes of concentration to teleport. Now." He snaps his fingers and the woman appears next to him, arm in arm. "She can go anywhere in the world in an instant. Isn't that right babe?"

Crimson Blink nods with a slight smile that seems off to Amy. "That's right honey."

"I just new you wouldn't trust me to tamper with your powers. You have a bit of a reputation you know."

Amy scowls, "Then cut me loose."
