Meet Sofia

First you visit this new subject of yours, the nun, Sofia. She is at the church, listening to the confessions of others, while Father Constantinus can go on with his own things. When she finishes, she comes out to finally meet you. She seems to be in her thirties, having a strict but nice face. That is all you can see of her body, under her big and well covering clothing.{if Elegance = 0} She is at first shocked by your nudity, but tries not to pay attention to this little fact...{endif}

Sofia: {if Social hierarchy = 80}Duchess {endif}{if Social hierarchy = 60}Baroness {endif}Lily! I have longed to meet you at last!

Lily: Mother Sofia! I am happy to meet you too! I have only recently been informed of your arrival, I am sorry I could not be here when you arrived!

Sofia: Do not mention it, I had my church and Father Constantinus to guide my way around here, I could not have asked for more.

Lily: Do not think ill of me for asking, but, what was the reason of your unexpected arrival?

Sofia: God willed my presence here.

Lily (a bit surprised at the answer): Oh, yeah, silly me...

Sofia: But otherwise, the father asked Bishop Johannes to transfer a nun here, so somebody could help him out with his daily duties. The father is growing old, even if he refuses to admit it mostly! I expect my staying to be a long lasting one.

Lily: Do you require anything? Should you have anything on your mind, please let me know!

Sofia: God provides me with all I need my child. But I am thankful for your kindness.

Lily: What duties do you have to attend to by the way?

Sofia: I was granted the responsibility of listening to the confessions of the locals, oversee the morality of the inhabitants of your estate and, if required, find the suitable way to guide the sinners back to the light of god almighty.

Lily (thinking): Oversee morality...? Oh mother, you are going to have a lot of work here... {if Sexperience > 5} Maybe mostly with me, but I hope you won't have ears and eyes everywhere...!{endif}

Sofia: Talking about overseeing morality... I have heard of a few young serfs who are going to have sex before marriage... I better go and check on them before something irreversible happens! If you will excuse me!

Lily (thinking): Hmm, is she really going to stop them from laying with each other before their marriage? She sure seems to take her job very seriously...

Father Constantinus comes out of the church to see you too.

Constantinus: Ah, Lily! Long time no see!

Lily: Father, it has been a long time indeed! How is the church doing these days? I have just met your new assistant!

Constantinus: The church does alright, but I must say, the collection of the tithe is in real danger this year if we look at the fields... I would not like to bleed the people dry by asking money for the church, but they must understand, salvation comes at a price and all must contribute according to their wealth. As for Sofia, yes, I am glad she is here! She is younger and more energetic than I am, she sure has great ambitions of this place!

Lily: What kind of ambitions do you mean?

Constantinus: She wants to cleanse this estate of all immorality and sin! Do not get me wrong, but I would never have started such a mission, people tend to be... "less moral", from time to time, there is no shame in that. God created us all to have a chance to chose which way we want and thus earn salvation or damnation.

Lily: Yes, I do not think people should be punished for that!

Constantinus: Sofia has a different approach. She considers herself the hand of god to right the wrongs people commit here. You will see her in action soon enough, she has been "giving judgement", on your subjects the last two months, while you were away!

Lily: Oh my god! Like what?!

Constantinus: All sort of things, she is very creative if it comes to that. Some support her mission, others not really... But let's get back to the situation of the fields... If we want to save what we can we all must make daily prayers to ensure, god has mercy on us and will give upon your lands a great life saving rain!

Lily: You will see me at all the masses father, you can be sure of that!

Lily (thinking): Seems all I can do is just pray for the best... Hope it works...! I must get help from the one above somehow!
