Chapter 15 by Duskford Duskford

What does Zack do now?

Meanwhile, at the grocery store...

By the time Kurt’s car pulled over in front of the grocery store, Victoria was fed up by the lecherous stares that he threw her way on the whole trip back to Azure Rocks. It was a short one, but it still pissed her off.

“I won’t be long.” She said, getting out of the car.

“Take your sweet time.” Kurt said, smirking as his eyes locked on her swaying ass covered by the white skirt that she wore.

Victoria rolled her eyes up and entered the store. After she found everything that she needed and piled all of it into a basket, she headed to the front of the store to pay. But as she turned on a shelf, she almost collided with someone that was coming from the other side.

“Victoria?” The other person said, surprised. “Weren’t you at the woods with my sister?”

Victoria pulled herself together and looked into the inquisitive face of Hannah Woodsen, Ashley’s older sister. Hannah was 21 years old, her eyes were blue like her sister’s and her long blonde hair was wavy. She had a great body as well, having been a cheerleader at high school, a hobby that she passed on to Ashley.

“Oh, hi Hannah!” Victoria greeted the older girl with a smile. “We were a little short on supplies there, so Heather’s cousin drove me back here to get it.”

A look of understanding formed on Hannah’s face. “Oh, that was it then. So, how are you and Ashley, are you having fun at the cabin so far?”

“It already had its moments.” Victoria answered cryptically, smiling as she remembered the night with Zack.

Almost at the same time that Zack crossed her mind, another woman about Hannah’s age rounded the corner of the shelf and joined them. Victoria recognized her as Taylor Bishop, Zack’s older sister. Physically, she shared a few traits with her younger brother, like the blue eyes, the lean body and the dark brown color of her long wavy hair. One thing that Victoria could say for sure about her was that she was really tall.

”I think that she’s even a bit taller than Zack.”

Victoria always thought that it was a little strange that Taylor and Hannah were long time friends when their siblings only befriended each other two years ago. Ashley told her that she guessed that it was due to Zack and her running in different social circles before Zack and Brandon became friends.

“Victoria, hi!” Taylor greeted cheerfully.

Victoria waved to her, she wasn’t so close to the brunette like she was to Hannah, who was her best friend’s sister.

”I guess that I’ll get to know her better if Zack and I become an item.” Victoria thought.

“Is my doofus of a brother behaving himself?” Taylor asked with a smirk.

Victoria felt herself flush. “Yeah, he is,” She stammered. “Don’t worry about it.”

Taylor shrugged. “Well, if he isn’t, at least for a few days I’ll be able to watch him personally.”

Victoria frowned. “What do you mean?”

Hannah grinned. “A friend invited us and a few more people to spend a few days at his cabin next weekend.” She answered excitedly. “I think it’s close to the Ravers’ cabin.”

“Oh, that’s,” Victoria trailed, surprised. “Really cool.”

“It is, isn’t it?” Hannah’s smile widened.

“We were buying a few things and checking the prices of others.” Taylor chimed in.

Victoria nodded with a smile and then remembered that Kurt was waiting outside and that the other might already be waiting for her to prepare lunch.

“I must get going,” She said. “The others are waiting for me.”

The three of them exchanged goodbyes and after Taylor asked her to make sure Zack behaved himself, they parted ways with a promise to see each other in four days. Victoria paid for the things she got and then got out of the store.

”Ugh! Fifty more minutes with Kurt in a car,” She cursed her luck. ”I just hope that Zack wants to talk to me about what happened last night when I get back.”
