Meanwhile, Gavin is learning a new point of view

Gavin's chat with Victoria was going surprisingly well, once he'd got over his usual shyness at least. Somehow they'd started talking about books and authors, and they quickly found that they had several favorites in common, which led them on to the kind of friendly discussion that he'd only managed to have with Chloe so far out of all the girls he'd ever managed to talk to.

Then suddenly they noticed Kurt approaching their position, and Gavin was glad to see that the girl he was talking to seemed to share his own distrust for the handsome blonde.

"Hey, what's up?" The guy just grinned at them though, and they were both relieved as he barely even slowed his steps on his way back to the cabin. The last thing either of them wanted was for him to ruin their chat after all, even if they were both surprised that he'd decided not to.

The sly wink that he shot at Gavin was quite unmistakable however, and the younger boy could feel his cheeks start blushing again as he feared what his company would think of him if she'd seen the gesture. Luckily it didn't seem like she noticed at all, but they still sat quiet for a couple of moments after the other guy had left.

"He's quite a creep, don't you think...?" The sweet blonde finally asked him when Kurt was well out of hearing distance, and almost caused him to swallow his own tongue as she also leaned herself closer to him while sharing her thoughts. "I hope that you won't have too much trouble from staying in the same room together!"

"I... think I'll be fine." Gavin managed a brave smile at her, which she was quick to return as she could tell that they shared the same feelings regarding the guy in question. Well, perhaps not the exact same as they both had rather different experiences of him, but at least a very similar sense of contempt for the way he seemed to regard every woman in sight as his personal plaything.

"What's he like then...?" She asked him tentatively, and for a moment he was almost afraid that just perhaps she was a little bit interested after all, even if she certainly didn't sound like it. There was something about the way she blushed after asking that got him wondering, but hopefully she simply just realized how the question might have been wrongly perceived. "If you've had the chance to talk to him, I mean...?"

"Well, it's mostly just him doing all the talking." The young man admitted in a gloomy voice, and with yet another quick glare in the other guy's direction. He sure hoped that none of the girls would fall for his so-called sweet-talking, but at the same time he suddenly realized that the guy might not have been as utterly bad as he'd thought.

He'd given them this chance to keep talking after all, and with all the pushing and encouraging words it actually felt like he'd been given a different view of the sweet young woman at his side. What if Kurt was actually right when he said that Vicky was his kind of girl...? And what if she actually didn't care one bit about his best friend Zack, but instead would be a lot more interested in himself...?

With these thoughts starting to move inside his head it wasn't long before he'd started looking for hints that he might have missed in the past, and he could feel a certain excitement growing inside of him as he couldn't really find anything speaking against theory at least.

Perhaps he'd owe some kind of thanks an apology to Kurt after all, if it somehow turned out that he managed to score with this beautiful green-eyed blonde at his side during their stay at the cabin...

"What the hell am I thinking...?" He had to ask himself as he turned his eyes back to check out her lovely figure. This wasn't like him at all, and just the idea of 'scoring' with someone was definitively not the words he would've chosen himself. "Am I turning into a guy like him now...?!"

Despite that horrifying thought it was difficult to get the concept out his mind though, and the more time he spent looking and imagining, the more some specific parts of him seemed to revert to his most basic instincts...
