Meanwhile, Emma Watson...

Watson stepped out of the house cautiously. She was fairly sure there was a short cut she could take to the studio, but she had found the map to be firmly attached to their door, so there was no way she could take it with her and she would have to rely on her memory. It was times like this she wished she really was Hermione, who would definitely have remembered the route. And probably been able to magic up some clothing, as well.

She turned, counter intuitively, in the opposite direction to the studio, and trotted quickly down the street, then ducked into an alley which was thankfully empty. The darkness caused by the walls on either side of her as she slipped between two houses made her feel a bit safer, as no one could see her here, but it also made it colder and she shivered a little, goosebumps rising on her skin.

At the other end of the alley was a dead end, with a wooden fence in front of her. Watson jumped up and grabbed the fence and scrambled over, landing with a bump in a back garden. She was sitting on a patch of grass, in front of her was a large swimming pool. She was dismayed to find the garden was not dark, but was lit by bright hanging lights, making sneaking difficult. And it became impossible when the back doors of the house opened and people began to pour out, dressed for swimming.

Watson rolled over the grass and ended up behind a tall stone planter on the corner of the pool, but there was no more cover. Her only chance was to sprint while everyone was distracted by splashing about in the pool.

When the noise of people jumping seemed to have reached its highest point, Watson broke cover, running for the next fence, but only managed two steps before she tripped up and fell into the pool.

She went under in a big splash, saw bodies moving all around her, then she brought her head back above the surface.

People were looking right at her.

"Hi." a blonde girl said, "I didn't see you come in... have we met?"

"I'm... Meg." Watson replied, using the American accent she had played Meg March in 'Little Women' with.

"Oh, hi." the girl said again, "You look so familiar, though..."

"I was at... Gary's party." Watson replied, "You know Gary?"

"Yeah. I wasn't there, though."

"You weren't... what about Greg?"

"I don't know Greg."

"You know who she looks like?" a redhead swam up to them, "That one from Little Women, she was called Meg as well."

"That must be it." Watson said, "I get that all the time."

"That's it." the blonde said. She lazily flopped onto her back, floating on the surface of the water, her curvaceous body barely covered by a pink swimsuit with colourful palm trees.

"I like your suit." Watson said, hoping if she kept up the conversation it would not be suspicious, and she could maybe get away soon.

"Oh, thanks." the blonde said, then automatically added, "I like yours..." she trailed off as she looked Watson up and down through the water, "Where's your swimsuit?"

"I, er... don't have one." Watson said, blushing scarlet.

"You got in the pool naked?" the redhead asked.

"It... slipped off when I jumped in." Watson stammered, "It's around here somewhere, I just..."

"Woah, someone's naked?" another voice added, tuning in to the conversation. Other people were beginning to pay attention, and soon all eyes were turning towards Watson.
