Maybe she is still in the stocks

You left her behind yesterday, strapped naked into the public stocks. With luck - and bad luck for her - she might still be there. {if Wench in the stocks = true}If you're really lucky the barwench you deposited there might still be there too!{endif} What better sight could you wish for in the early morning hours?

You scan the view to orient yourself to the direction you need to go in. It's still early morning - the sun's rays have barely crept over the distant horizon. All the homes in town are bathed in the early light, and cast long shadows across eachother in turn. It's a fairly sizeable settlement, and from your vantagepoint, within the center of town, you can barely make out the walls and guardtowers in the distance, and the hills beyond them. The scene exudes an aura of peacefulness, though you're sure you'll be able to stir up some trouble over the course of the day. You spot one of the towers you recognise from the public square and know which way to head.

You race through town, but when you arrive there you're met with disappointment. {if Wench in the stocks = true}Neither of the women are still there, when you were so looking forward to seeing the naked pair lined up for your viewingpleasure{else}She's no longer there, though you were so looking forward to rubbing in the humiliation further{endif} - the whole square is mostly abandoned. You do spot an early riser, a street artist who is busy getting his stall in order for the day's bussines. Prominently displayed amongst his inventory is a series of sketches and finished watercolors of {if Wench in the stocks = true}Sayza and the barmaid naked side by side in the stocks.{else}Sayza displayed naked in the stocks{endif} Something tells you those are gonna sell out in no time. As they say, life is short but art is forever.

Sayza's no longer here though. It was probably too much to hope for.
