Maybe but let's Follow Rose for now

As I left the heroine to stew in her own juices, I couldn’t help but feel a little bad. I had nothing against the young heroine but we were unfortunately on opposing sides. Though I made a good deal of money selling my wonderful plants, some of my more….unorthodox experiments required a lot of capital. As such, I had a long standing deal with The Queen, the ruler of Landmark’s Criminal Element. The deal was that she would fund my experiments and in return, she would call upon me for such task as getting the truth out of people using certain plants or allowing my carnivorous plants to devour the dead bodies the Queen’s victims. I wasn’t too fond of that last one but my plants do need to eat.

It was also because of The Queen that I was **** to leave Amethyst for a bit. A few nights ago, The Queen sent word out to everyone connected to her regarding the heroine. Apparently, The Queen had taken a liking to the young woman and requested that she be contacted should anyone apprehend her. So before I did anything with Amethyst, I needed to consult The Queen.

Walking through the greenhouse, I came to my lab, which was hidden by a nearby willow tree. Picking up the phone and setting it on speaker, I dialed The Queen’s number and waited for her to pick up. As I waited, I shrugged off my lab coat and slipped out of my green dress. Snapping my fingers, the willows vines came to life, picking up a change of clothes and various pieces of makeup. As my plants attended to me, The Queen finally picked up. “Hello?” She said “I apologize Ms. Queen but I have something I need to discuss with you.” The Queen’s voice suddenly became more playful “Ah, Madam Rose. Always a pleasure to hear from you. What can I do for you?” “Well for starters, I would like to know why gave that little superhero of yours one of those blue roses you love so much.?” “Ah, it seems little Amethyst has paid you a visit. I apologize for the surprise but Amethyst gave me such a wonderful night that I couldn’t help but leave her a little something for her troubles.” “Why do I get the sense that you intended for this to happen?” “Oh you know me so well sweet Rose. You see, you have been so helpful lately that I thought you deserved a reward. And so, I have sent you the lovely Amethyst use as you please.” I froze, blushing a bit. “Um….are you sure that’s okay? I heard things got hot and heavy between you two.” “Well, you know how charming I can be. And yes, it is okay with me. Though I plan on making her my willing lover soon, for now, enjoy yourself.” “Thank you my Queen, I will enjoy her.” I said as I pulled my hair loose and shook it free of my ponytail. “Oh and Rose.” said The Queen said in a more stern voice. “Yes, ma’m?” “If any harm comes Amethyst, you will be getting a visit from me next.” She said before hanging up.
