Maybe, but there's a loud growling sound

You trot down the street, desperately looking for cover or signs of the cops chasing you. You're so busy looking that when a growling sound comes to your ears you can't figure out its source. You whirl, looking up and down the street, then along the side of the road and sidewalk, as if it might be a dog.

It gets louder and louder, and you start to panic, darting toward an alley to hide as the sounds seems to be nearly upon you.
