breaking into a second part
Matthew goes pro
With Ada by Naomi's side and Matthew acting as the social glue, the two female zombies teamed up and created a symbiotic bond, almost fully merging their minds and becoming a powerful **** predicated on Naomi's talent, enhancing Ada while Ada's strength boosted Naomi. They made sure not to merge since Matthew wouldn't like that, but what they did was create a mental-psychic link that paired their minds together, keeping them separate yet united. This caused them to share attributes and personality traits; when Naomi began to feel a maternal care for Ada's child, Ada copied Naomi's sexual characteristics, refining her somewhat chubby body into a big milf with overflowing curves and a pudgy belly. Additionally, Ada also started to feel the maternal instinct for Naomi's fetus, feeling the belly, leading Naomi to smile and talk with her using their minds, usually leading to Naomi touching her belly in turn, stirring a desire for mating, both for pleasure and reproduction.
Ada wouldn't be where she was now without Ada; she'd continue mutating horrifically and eventually kill herself once her son died, spawning several special zombies. But Naomi also wouldn't be where she was without Ada; with Ada, Naomi's new path could be taken with stability and they were able to face the bigger threats together.
Around the time the zombie army got big enough, and Matthew's rigorous training was yielding fruit, Matthew began thinking about how the world needed them. Sure, Matthew had saved all the humans from three countries over, but at this rate, the world would fall, and not even Naomi or Ada could protect them.
Thinking about the future got Matthew depressed, and he wondered if his will to keep his lovers by him was holding them back. Matthew wasn't special in any way, nor lucky; he just happened to get a super shameful encounter most would have killed themselves over, leading to his current prosperity.
One day, Matthew looked at Naomi and Ada sitting beside him. A long pause overtook him. When he eventually spoke, he had a knowing look in his eyes as he spoke, and he said three simple words.
"You can go"
With these words, Matthew conveyed everything he wanted to say, watching as Naomi and Ada took a moment before their eyes opened wide and they came close to him, hugging him and stumbling over their words to comfort him. Matthew's mind was made up; he wouldn't keep them shackled to him any longer, but the girls didn't expect him to make this brave decision, so they were unprepared for it and tried to stop him. They grabbed his arms and tried to console him; however, Matthew didn't budge, telling them if they were really worried that he'd hold them down for another week, but they NEEDED to go their own way afterwards. Matthew wasn't sure why or what it was, but he knew something was waiting for them beyond his eyes, and that he hurts them every moment they are held from their destiny.
When they finally agreed, they gave him a hug of love like never before and had sex that felt different in a way, special, yet so full of regrets.
The only thing left to discuss was their pregnancies. Matthew knew he couldn't put off their departure, but he worried for the health of the babies the three of them were having. They told Matthew he didn't need to worry, their departures would be a while, so they were bound to have the children, but they were strong enough to take care of them, and had enough reliable retainers to help in this. Although he might not be there for their birth or early years, they promised to come back as soon as possible with healthy kids.
Afterwards, they left, taking their hordes along with them, travelling on different paths, one to the Murim front and the other westward to Europe. Ada wanted to break her back against the strong, and Naomi heard a calling, something great and powerful was waiting for its candidates to arrive, and she was the last one. They weren't fully sure of their journeys, but they knew of a general path they would undertake, so they told Matthew that before they left. Matthew wasn't sure what he'd do, but he wished them the best of luck and stayed where he was, working on turning his people into a unified **** of warriors able to use spears and swords. He'd already allowed some splitting into other communities, but Matthew ensured they still obeyed him without Naomi getting involved. This was crucial given the fact that zombies would soon pour in once their wariness of Naomi and Ada had fully vanished, making it critical that they worked together to secure the farmlands and buffed defences for their bases or outposts.
A week later, the zombies came in full ****, smacking against the concrete and steel structures put up to route the zombies into the Metropolitan Area Outer Underground Discharge Channel, or structures that had a similar effect of flooding those fuckers. Rain didn't come for three days, but most were still in these trenches, as most invaders were the stronger zombies mixed in, the ones who had evolved into higher tiers. It was hazardous pushing them out, but high-tier monsters, like the ones in Africa, who are indistinguishable from humans, were immediately used as rallying points, sacrificing a lot of blood to bring the enemies low. Matthew almost died during this time, with the zombies Ada and Naomi left being killed protecting Matthew from the big boss, a hulking beast bigger than an elephant with its human body swollen with muscles. It was like Matthew tried to square up against a giant gorilla on steroids with rhino skin, he got his ass handed to him, but he made a breakthrough in his training, reaching a new level in martial arts, however small.
During the fight, Matthew wasn't some superhuman, but he had trained enough to bring his small arm shield up to block the zombie boss's attack after cutting open some of its skin using the part where segments connect, similar to knight armour. That's when the high-tier zombie, Felice, showed up. She, her three sisters, parents, and the lovers of three of those sisters charged at the monster, bringing it down and helping lift Matthew off the ground, his leg almost completely crushed by the creature. They had experienced some losses, but Felice and two of the other sisters survived, losing their parents, a sister, and their companions. Tragically, the sister who lost her life was the bitchless one, leaving the remaining three, Felice, Amanda, and Vienna, losing both their family and lovers. Things weren't peachy in their family, but this was still a sad loss.
- Felice was dating the human, something her parents didn't approve of due to their predatory nature on lonely walkers of the night. The human was slightly psychopathic, showing it when he and the dad got in a fight, but they still didn't like the guy, and saw his nature as another horrible quality. They hunted because it was an urge in them and they looked for bastards; the human didn't kill, but their acceptance of Felice hunting stemmed from a mental evil they were disgusted by, just like any human finding a cannibal. Although they can resist their nature, but choose not to, he's just a crazy evil bastard pretending to be good.
- Amanda was dating a low-tier monsters, a creature who couldn't even change his form or looks like a human, making it obvious when a lanky hunchback, with spikes on its back, and pitch-black skin enters the room wearing an ugly Christmas sweater. Their parents didn't approve of him because he couldn't transform or hide his monster nature, making it impossible to show him in photos or around their human friends, with their monster circles looking down on him and his inability to speak human tongues fluently.
- Vienna dated a high-tier monster from the same species of near-humans as them, but he was classically hated for normal human reasons: he was a Taoist, so he didn't work and instead meditated, he was from a rival family, and he was generally a dick to anyone who rubbed him wrong. It was mainly the rival family thing that bothered them, but the other things were disappointing too for a son-in-law.
These three ladies were now widowed, their husbands quickly rising from the dead, finally setting an end to their good-quality Webtoon love story. No more stuff about how they live their life but casually come across strong bastards wanting to stop them, or their powerful families acting in disagreement with their choices. They were dead, and only the three sisters remained, widowed, heartbroken, seeking a release from their pain.
Matthew took them in, consoling and aiding them as they accepted the current state of things. They were directionless, inconsolable, requiring Matthew to **** them out of their shell, getting them to see light, love, and happiness in the world.
Over time, Matthew grew closer to them, yet kept his distance and allowed his desires to take that irredeemable step. They started smiling again as he trained with them, growing closer and entering fiercer fights against infected creatures. Matthew used these hard fights to train his martial arts, expanding his territory in the process, forcing him to rework his organisational structure, starting with special attack teams meant to deal with bigger threats that the regular defenders can't handle. Additionally, Matthew soon found various projects across the nations, clearly preparing for the next technological revolution to spark an arms race that would put even the smaller nations on the map and cut out the weaklings. Matthew made it a point of order to collect these blueprints as he looked for a location to build his mega project, a futuristic city pulling in all these high-tech schematics. Since the science nations were advanced and had a great deal of cooperation to deal with pressure from supernatural forces, Matthew had a lot of great maps to look through.
The earliest ones he got were about: rudimentary humanoid robots and basic AIs capable of following orders, construction cubes that suck in materials painted with a special solution that pulls in materials to the cube for quick construction, and reverse flamethrowers that suck in biomass from creatures the fire is used on, it will eventually run out, but its usage time with limited fuel is humongously expanded.
Matthew wasn't a genius, but he didn't have to be; high-tech companies' computers and this world's inhabitants of science countries did the thinking for him. They did preliminary tests, telling them how the construction cubes can only convert 70% of an object's mass, with the rest being burned up to power the cube's ability. This was still useful, so Matthew's faction began producing the special paint for the construction cubes in all the countries he cleared out. Matthew had long since brought them to the country where he was based, or nearby communities, so there was no use in leaving these cities when so many people were dead and gone, and the equipment would likely rot away before the world could recoup its losses. Zombies still filled up these cities and continued to change, but by using the construction cubes to make more construction cubes-a difficult and long process since the cubes needed to replicate their functions without exploding in the splitting cube-Matthew's agents could then produce ludicrous amounts of the paint, using automated fire trucks and robots to avoid the noses of zombies and coat these cities in the blue paint. Matthew waited a while and made sure every building was checked for more schematics, then he had them activate the cubes simultaneously, their anti-human-sucking safety measures being released to deal with all those zombies and gain all those materials. Matthew then had them create legions of these robots, wielding the paint and special flamethrowers, acting quickly to counteract the zombies forcing their way across the now-empty regions of perfectly flat ground. Matthew had the egg heads remove the legal protocols against firearms and other such weapons, allowing them to roll out attack squads using bombers, tanks, and other such weapons, fight a fierce battle against billions of zombies from the science countries, who were beginning to use tactics and develop zombie leaders capable of leading millions of zombies. The other nations acted as buffers as best they could, but the tides were so overwhelming that the robots coated in an unstable paint formula were all that maintained the battlefront since their deaths would be followed with an explosion sucking in all nearby matter, including the zombies.
The disturbance could be felt across the Afro-Eurasian continent, with even Murim zombies, both native and foreign, turning their heads for several moments every once in a while. Ada and Naomi were surprised but happy since they knew Matthew was probably behind this disturbance, but became insanely worried as a bunch of zombies seemed to redirect, including the magical and martial artist ones. Ada and Naomi did the best they could to stem the tide, accepting hundreds of thousands of zombies to kill other zombies or kill one another to be refined into stronger zombies. However, Naomi and Ada couldn't handle it all, especially not while a dead monster god was keeping Naomi busy trying to have her inherit its sauce. With their time occupied, they both got one of their zombie attendants to rush a message to Matthew, informing him of the coming dangers, making Matthew rethink his plans. With no time to rest, Matthew sped up the paint job of the country he was in, completing things just before the zombies breached the last line of defence. With them so close and so many powerful zombies acting as spearheads that broke through the robot legions, Matthew enjoyed the sight as they sent in millions of low-level zombies so humans would activate the paint, later joining the fight when Matthew and his humans were pushed back. That's when Matthew activated the construction cubes in a specific way that kept the humans in a special zone safe while the entire nation was converted, leaving a giant crater. In an instant, it split into two parts: one floating city with beautiful and strong structures built to prosper in the apocalypse, and a massive industrial complex built on elevated platforms kept up using curved pillars of silver and gold. The floating city was used as a fortress and a way for his people to escape, whilst the industrial complex had tens of billions of mechanisms and guns. Even if zombies took down the pillars, the various hanging districts had means of stabilising and firing on things under it or coming towards it. All the other zombies that weren't in the initial charge ended up running into this fortress of guns, getting blasted with weapon infrastructure like nothing before. The floating city, Miaman, had guns, sure, but it was built with the intention of gathering other blueprints to upgrade the city. The lifted industrial complex, Turbine, making up a massive chunk of the nation, was made to create more armies and defend against all the zombies in the world. These two places were completely different, and Turbine showed that off with its war capabilities, creating a zone of absolute **** as it began broadcasting for survivors to head there if possible, preferably in helicopters to avoid the zombies.
Matthew then moved on, smugly watching as the powerhouses in the rear saw the war as a failure and left, now that Matthew had the two cities up and running, one with a lot of guns and the other with a special invisible net that could kill anyone who got too close. All the zombies could do now was start preparing to siege Turbine and prepare themselves against the threat to come. It wasn't like the zombies came out poorer. Although they had lost and the humans had escaped, the zombies were conditioned in this battlefield and the many battles to come from Turbine. Adaptations against Murim weren't required as much since martial artist zombies were a significant fighting ****. But with Turbine and Miaman, the zombies had fought a conflict and came out of it alive, initiating a series of evolutions in their bodies that would make them increase their power to what an equivalent **** would have in 10 years, when the world is wiped clean of uninfected creatures. This mutation was specialised in formations, creating an army of soldier zombies with unified wills, attributes equivalent to Captain America, and used certain special zombies with superpowers. The city's powerful algorithms and network of insect-sized drones picked up on these changes and prepared accordingly, knowing that it wasn't as if all zombies wouldn't suddenly upgrade, but continued contention in a war-like nature would stimulate other zombies on this path. Also, the city, Turbine, wasn't even comprised of humans in any capacity, so the zombies didn't see it fit to fight them, instead, redirecting their firepower to the Murim front. A lot of zombies had already been taken from that front, so the zombie army marched, using human equipment and ones they evolved to grow, making an army that was comprised of spearmen, black ops, and espers. Turbine's advanced AI modules tried to deal with this problem using missile strikes, but 9/10 of every missile was thwarted, with similar results presenting against robot teams and troop deployments. At the very least, they managed to cull the nearby zombies and the ones on the way to Murim, stopping the Z Army from growing using traditional smaller zombie hordes surrounded by bigger hordes they want the smaller ones to transform into. This gave enough time for Matthew to get the info and head to Murim, finally moving on from science countries after sending small investigation teams of droids to establish small outposts.
