Matthew and Violet

Matthew's sword was pressed against Violet's neck. She held more than enough power to beat him, but she was trapped.

Any movement would end with her neck being slit open. She took a deep breath and regained her composure.

"What is this about?" she asked.

"What you did to Martha, that was too far" he said into her ear.

"That was days ago" she snapped, but calmed down as the sword pressed against her neck, making some blood trickle.

"I've been learning your patterns and disarming your defenses. So I'm going to warn you" he said before he pulled her hair.

She hated to admit it, but she was scared.

"Once this is done, I will destroy everything" he said. Before she knew it, Matthew was gone.

Maybe this was a mistake.

Emma was getting ready for her date when her roommate walked up to her.

"Can we talk?" asked Sarah, but Emma said nothing.

"Please, can we just pretend it never happened" begged Sarah, but this only pissed Emma off.

"So that's your solution, to act like you never hit me. Well, news flash, you did. And that's not something you can take back. I can't wait for you to turn into a bimbo" snapped Emma before she stormed out.
