Ah yes the one character that stayed normal. Who never got any of the girls in the end. Matt picked up the toy he saw fall out of the sky in confusion.

In this town he knew to be wary of such things. After all it could be cursed for all he knew. Turning the strange device over he discovered the note. “Woah it’s almost like a compulsion ray? Maybe I should take this to Mr. Saltzman.” Still a darker side whispered why do that when you have the power now?

Matt shook his head. He couldn’t let himself think like that could he? Having seen and been the victim of compulsion. It wouldn’t be right do to this to anyone right? In the end Matt decided to make his way to the Mystic Grill.

Odds were Mr. Saltzman would be there. If anyone could Matt then he could. Once he was almost there he bumped into someone. “Im sorry I….” Matt froze at first he thought he bumped into Elena but he knew those eyes. “Hello Katherine.”

(Side note: this chapter gave me an idea. I was wondering if I should pursue it? Should I make a compulsion ray story? Let me know in the comments.)
