Master Suite

Three women with bellhop outfits come into the room, "Ah there you are," Cheryl says, "our lovely staff her will show you all to your rooms. Master care to come with me" Cheryl gestures Liam to follow her.

Liam and Cheryl walk down a corridor, taking an elevator to the top floor of the hotel, not that the hotels that big. They stop at a double doored room. "This is the Master Suite," she opens the door. Showing off the room to Liam.

"This is much nicer than my apartment, but I have to say a bit underwhelming." Liams says looking at the smallish kitchen, a dining table that seats about two, a relatively cozy living room area with a fairly nice TV. Outside there was a balcony overlooking the lake. It had some seating and a table for two. His bed was a california king however with some silk sheets and a large closet. The bathroom head a nice big shower and separate large tub that could seat multiple people. It also had the double sink.

"When doing our research on you, we thought you'd be more into cozy than pure spectacle. Plus a crystal palace wouldn't really fit the theme well."

"I guess you're right, I could easily find myself comfortable in a room like this." Liam says feeling around the room in disbelief.

"I should also mention you're allowed to order anything you want. Room service, movies, games, if you want a TV at the end of your bed we can provide that. Make this place yours, you're gonna be here for a while master."

"I have a question" Liam says still in awe, "Why did you pick me? You said it was like a lottery but then you pick people from my life, and do research on me."

Cheryl takes a breath, "I do research on countless humans. Different centuries, decades, literally countless. Not to mention all the non humans I research too. I also have competition, other seasons, other hosts. I have to stand out. I picked you because I like you Liam. I felt I could make a change in your life. I see the course of how your life would of went if I didn't intervene. Trust me, you wouldn't like it. I must of watched it like 5 times, each watch through I liked you even more. So afterwards I pluck you and your harem out of reality and bring you to this plane of existence. Here it is unpredictable but I expect you to make the right choices, seeing how I know you better than you know yourself. Plus if it's a good season I might get promoted and just work in production, my true passion, rather than hosting this show."

"You watched my life play out 5 times" Liam asked genuinely confused.

"Yep 5 times" Cheryl shrugs.

"What made me stand out to you?"

"You were kind, and well meaning." Cheryl blushes, "but you also made yourself distant from others till the day you died, and trust me that's hard to watch just once. I think you need a push, to let people be close to you."

"Well um... thank you Cheryl, you're still in the wrong for **** me and also subjecting others to that as well. But you did make me feel a little bit better about it" Liam rubs the back of his head awkwardly.

Cheryl laughs, "Well I can't see into your future now that you're here, so you're gonna now have to put in the work yourself." Cheryl extends out her hand, "I think we have the opportunity to have a really great season Liam, just make a deal with me, let loose and try to enjoy the circumstance you find yourself in."

Liam reaches out his hand to meet Cheryl's, "I'll try but it is hard, you're changing people against their will. Especially people like Rob, you're messing with his entire life and identity."

Cheryl drops her cheery facade and stares down Liam, "I promise you Liam, everything we change and do is for the better. Plus there's no way you're leaving now. We're in the middle of the first episode."

"Okay, so what do I do right now" Liam asks trying to defuse the intensity.

Cheryl goes back to her cheery self, "Well normally I'd let you go wherever you please but I find it best we let the the other people get acclimated to their rooms. So how about a game of chess, just warning you though, I always win."

"I'm sure you do, if you have the time to watch someone's lifetime play out 5 times I'm sure you have time to learn chess"

Cheryl laughs, "sit down and play the game, I'll try to teach you how to beat a interdimensional chess grandmaster while we wait for the transformation polling results."
