Masahiko: a Kitsune

Once the hood falls and the mask put away, your are taken aback. In front of you is another kitsune. You can barely breathe as you take him in. White fur with red accents, two fluffy ears, and eight tails dancing lazily once they're freed from his coat. You are speechless; you didn't think you'd meet another kitsune until you gained the funds to go back to Japan.

As the surprise fades, you can feel your excitement building up. You try to push it back down. It won't help to get your hopes up, as you have no idea what he wants with you. For all you know, he's here on the behalf of your 'father' to get something from you. You eventually calm yourself, eyeing the newcomer lazily. "Another kitsune." you say, giving him another look over, "Wow, what have I done to finally gain the attention of my own kind?"

The kitsune rolls his eyes playfully. "What? Can't get to know my new neighbor?"

You eye the ajar door, something he notices. He laughs. "Oh, that's not where I'm staying. Though maybe it could be a good investment. Get rid of the machines, transform it into my own restaurant..."

He pauses as he goes over to possibilities before turning his attention back to you. "Oh, what kind of a neighbor am I? I haven't even introduced myself! I'm Masahiko Daku."

Slowly, he begins circling while looking you over. You can see him licking his lips out of the corner of your eyes. "It's nice to get closer to you." he says, "You've always been beautiful, but to see the finer details... Yes, you'll be a fine kitsune one day. Definitely talented enough to earn the rest of your tails from what I've seen."

"I'm well aware of that fact. But what I'm curious about it what you want with me?"

Masahiko grins. "Straight to the chase. I like it. But maybe we should go somewhere a bit more... private. Would you like to come home with me, Takeshi?"

As if you would say no. He has your full interest and in more ways than one. You nod, sighing with relief when his magic lifts. Your own tails stretch out and wave around, seemingly impressing Masahiko. "I'll be glad to come along." you say, "As long as I'm free to leave when I please. I'm sure you're just as aware as I am how important that is to a kitsune."

"Of course. Just allow me the time to explain. I'd hate for you to run off with only half of the story."

With that, you follow the kitsune deeper into the city. A part of you hopes that he's a bit more interested than being a friendly neighbor. This is the one chance you didn't think you'd ever have and you are definitely going to grab it with both hands.
