Masahiko leads you to a nicer neighborhood. You dreamed about living here when you were younger, but shelfed it as you got older. It's a beautiful area, where the high-rises and towers fade away into family homes with gorgeous gardens and trees. As a kid you imagined buying this brick house on the corner. It was covered in vines and it's garden was full of roses. You know it was sold recently, but you never saw anyone inside when you would walk by. It made you sad that such a beautiful place would go to waste on a man that was never there.

So, when Masahiko leads you straight to that house... You feel your heart skip a beat. How...? Had Masahiko bought the place for you?

The kitsune opens the door and the house is empty. That doesn't surprise you, you hadn't seen anyone come in or out since the sale. "I know there isn't anything now, but if you agree this will all be yours."

You look back at Masahiko. He's grinning like the cat that caught the canary. Bribery. Why would he feel the need to bribe you with your dream home? "I guess that would depend on what you want, Mr. Daku?"

"Oh, don't call me that." he says, laughing, "I might have a few years on you, but that title still belongs to my own father."

You simply raise an eyebrow. If he still has family, why would he leave them behind? Maybe... Maybe he was like you? Exiled for bringing shame to his family? "Oh, is that so?" you say, "What should I call you instead?"

"Oh, my name will do just fine, though you could also call me Masa. Though, I do hope that you wouldn't be opposed to calling me husband?"

"I'm sorry... Did you just propose to me? Hours after you just met me?"

"Well, to be fair, I have known you a bit longer than that." he says, prowling around you. You keep a close eye on him. What would he want with you? You have no money, no family name, and your powers certainly aren't strong enough to marry an eight-tailed fox. You don't speak; you're in his territory on his terms. Better to let him lead and gather what information you can.

"The strong, silent type, eh? Good instincts kit."

Again, you stay silent, but let yourself relax a little. "Well, since you've been so patient, I think we could make quite the power couple. You might be an illegitimate heir, but you are still a part of the Hisoka bloodline. A Hisoka and a Daku union would produce powerful kitsunes. It would also anger your sperm donor of a father. And there's nothing he can do about it, since he never claimed you."

"I'm assuming there's bad blood between the two of you?"

"Well... I didn't leave Japan as willingly as my father made it out to be. Your father made a deal with me, he got his end and screwed me out of mine. Let me take the fall when it came out."

You nod. "That is something I can understand." A lost family and a lost heritage all so he could get some extra ass. Letting you pay the price for his infidelity. You definitely are leaning towards taking Masahiko on his deal. Your dream home, a marriage to another kitsune, and a way to piss off your deadbeat father? What more could you ask for?

"And if you aren't convinced already, I haven't been left completely destitute. I might be cut off from my family's fortune, but I built my own before it all came out. It was rough the first few years, but I've managed to expand on it. Whatever you want, I'll provide. College, a business, or just being a stay-at-home husband, you simply tell me and I will make it happen. So, Takeshi, what do you say? Will you marry me?"
