The Lamp found itself at the boundary of a interconnected multiverse, a grand web of thousands upon thousands of worlds that were shattered mirrors of each other. Over and over again, it witnessed iterations of the same extraordinary individuals play out similar events. They even crossed over on occasion, working together and conflicting in kaleidoscopic chaos.

Heroes and villains, mortals and gods, the selfless, the innocent, and the irredeemable. All fought and triumphed and died in an endless war that spanned galaxies and poured through dimensions. All without even a handful grasping the true scale of their existence, let alone the truly infinite expanse that surrounded their collection of universes.

It was beautiful.

It was terrible.

It was the perfect place for the Lamp to fulfill its purpose.
