The lamp wanted to make its mark on history. And where better to start then at the center of it all, 616 was the staging ground for a grand multiverse and everything followed in it's wake.

The lamp realized that gods, omnipotent beings and reality warpers were present here. Beings that could erase it with a mere thought, but as long as it played by the rules of the universe they would see no reason to harm it.

So the decision was made and the lamp embedded itself in a place where it could be found.
