What happens to Marty in the meantime?
Marty takes the elevator ☑
After leaving the apartment I still felt self-concious and considered taking the stairs when I saw the elevator open with 5 people already inside, and crowded. Took a deep breath and a sharp "getting in?" for me to take a step forward.
I barely made the bus to the Uni. Ugh. It came early? What the heck? Turned out the previous one was 24 mins late! So if I came on time I'd have to wait half an hour for another one. Good thing I took the elevator after all.
The bus arrived at the gates of the University few minutes before schedule - look like it managed to regain some of the loss, so I didn't have to run inside. Still it was definitely to hot to walk around in a jacket. I took it with me to hide my changing body, but now it was just drawing more attention wearing one in a warm sunny day.
I took off the jacket, but felt even more self-concious. With just my t-shirt on you can clearly see I have two small mounds on my chest. What does not help at all is that my now eraser-sized nipples are hard as rocks and poke out of my chest forming two clear tents under my t-shirt.
Relax I say to myself. No-one pays attention to you anyway, no-one will notice. I keep telling that to myself, and yet wave after wave of anxiety mixed with embarrassment flows over me. I try to shield my chest with my arms, but I know it just draws more attention to it.
Finally the bus arrives at the University and I jump out of it as fast as I can. I enter the hall via the side door hoping to avoid most interactions. Without luck though, as I turn around the corner I bump into someone.
"Wow someone is happy that he sees me!" I hear and recoil in shock. It's Gretchen, a girl I've been friends with - whom I met at the orientation. I get beet red from head to toes, tears in my eyes, I turn around and run away.
