Mark wakes up and makes breakfast

Mark was slowly awoken from a dreamless sleep by the sun shining through the large windows. As he opened his eyes, he saw Hellen sleeping like a baby next to him. He couldn’t help but smile at the lovely sight of his wife getting to sleep in, in her own mansion no less. He cautiously slipped out of bed and made his way to the pile of clothes that they had made during their lovemaking last night. He looked over at a bench where he saw the maid’s outfit neatly piled up. Hellen must have brought it upstairs somewhere last night without him noticing. For a moment he was tempted to wear the outfit and become the maid, so he could tease his wife a bit more, but he decided there would be enough time for that.

With his clothes in hand, he headed out of the bedroom, so he could dress without waking his wife. He headed downstairs and opened the fridge where and cupboards where they stored what little food, they had brought with them. It would be enough for today, but they had to do the groceries today if they wanted to have breakfast tomorrow. While making food Mark started thinking about what else they needed to do that day. They needed to return the van, possibly buy a car of their own and consider some new linen. Mark was poking at the egg he was cooking when he felt hands wrap around his waist and a weight press against his back. His eyes shot wide, and his heart stopped, thinking he was being attacked until the hands started stroking his chest and a purring came from behind. “You really shouldn’t try to scare me like that when I am cooking.”

“I know, but you looked so huggable” she mumbled, obviously trying to hold back a yawn. She let go of him after squeezing a bit and then sat down at the kitchen table. The table was obviously shabby and designed for the staff to use but it was a bit ridiculous to use the massive dining hall just for the two of them.
