Dinner started normally, but Sally was clearly itching to bring up the wishes. Will thought Maria seemed a little suspicious of him so he didn't want to push too hard at the beginning.

Maria eventually brought the topic there herself though, or at least adjacent to it. She pointed at Melody, "So how did you end up with a sex ****? I mean, I know it's legal and cool for you, but I've never heard of anyone else owning someone legally."

Sally looked at him excitedly. Yes yes Sally, I'll tell her. Pete tried to give a reassuring smile, "Well I will tell you but first you must promise to never tell anyone else about anything I say tonight."

Maria snorted, "Wow. Seriously?" She looked at Sally, "Where'd you find this dork?" She turned her head back to Will, "Sure Pete. I promise I'll never tell a soul whatever you tell me tonight."

Well that was close enough, "Ok. I have a magic ring that grants wishes. One for me, and then one for someone else."

Maria looked skeptical, "Sure and you just wished for a ****. That can't be true, because if it was why the hell would you admit it?"

Will shook his head, "It wasn't my wish. It was hers."

Maria looked at Melody, confused. Melody smiled, "It was partially an accident. He'd just told me about the wishes and I was teasing him. I wished to be his sexy **** girl and well, now I am. I don't believe intended to enslave myself for real, but it's hard to tell now. All I can say is that my Master makes me extremely happy."

Maria shook her head, "Ok not saying I believe you...but that's fucked up. Why didn't you just wish to free her?"

Sally took this one, "It can't undo wishes. We've tested it a little. It has limits."

Maria sighed, "Ok. I need prove. Make a wish."

Will smiled, "Ok, but I don't like wishes unless I know what's coming next. What do you want to wish for? The ring is better at changing people and objects, not creating new things. Also it's stronger if you wish for yourself. For example if I had made the wish for Melody it probably wouldn't have worked."

Maria scratched her chin, "Fine. I have a scar on my belly from surgery. I hate it. I'll wish to remove it."

Will nodded, "Ok. Promise that."

Maria rolled her eyes, "Fine I promise I will wish for my scar to be completely healed and no longer visible."

"Right. I wish I was 2 inches taller." Will wasn't short, but he had always wanted to be just a little taller. He felt himself stretch immediately and smiled, "Your turn."

Maria nodded and made her wish. She was wearing a dress but she immediately hiked it up showing off her toned belly and smooth legs. "Holy crap. It's gone. You weren't kidding. You really weren't kidding." She looked at Sally, "This is incredible!"

Will smiled, phase one complete. Now he just had to make her realize she wanted something enough to start making promises she'd regret.
