Your village has a small plot of land that your people farm. You also have a cow, a goat, and some chickens, as one of your people was familiar with animal husbandry.

Small, nomadic bands sometimes visit areas nearby your village due to its close proximity to a river. If possible, you like to leave these bands alone. However, if they threaten ****, then you are not against retaliating.

One of your advisers, a polymath, tells you that he found some books on pottery, archery, and mining. Archery will allow you to train long-range fighters, which will strengthen your small military; mining will allow you to mine for ore, which can be used for more advanced technologies later on; pottery allows you to construct a granary, where you can store wheat for animals or humans.
