Making dinner at home.

"So....my Dad's working the night shift tomorrow. I thought, maybe you'd want to come over and I can make us dinner? And then we can watch a movie or something?"

A part of Tanya cringes at the thought of going to Maggie's house. When they were friends she didn't enjoy going to Maggie's place because it was always a mess, so she always encouraged Maggie to come to her house. Even though he had a kid, Mr. Mendelshon was definitely hit hard by his wife leaving. She wants to write back that maybe they should go out to dinner, but instead her fingers type "yes! I'll come over for dinner and movies."

"ok. cool. I'll see you at 7."

As Tanya goes to sleep, she's excited to see her crush and has a small sense of dread. The state of how Maggie's Dad kept the house was one thing, but there was a bigger worry in the back of her head. Maggie's across-the-street neighbor was Whitney's BFF Becky Morin. If Becky saw her car at Maggie's, it would undoubtedly get back to the other cool kids. She released a sigh, but it didn't matter, did it? The cheerleaders were bad influences and she wasn't going to hang out with them anymore. A quiet sadness competed with Tanya's excitement as she fell asleep.

Tanya woke up to find a text message on her phone. It was from Maggie and sent at 2 a.m. "Can you come dressed in black?" followed by a second text 13 minutes later "and sexy?"

Tanya was curious why Maggie was up and texting at 2 a.m. She was disgusted by the request for a moment, but it was only a moment because she soon found herself digging for her closet for anything black. Her options were limited. She had one black dress but it was hardly sexy. In fact, she had very little black in her wardrobe because she was always more of a pastels sort of girl. "Darn it, I'm going to need to go to the mall."

And she does. The trip to the mall was mostly uneventful. The clerk at the dress store was incredibly helpful when Tanya admitted she was looking for something "black and sexy." In fact, the clerk was surprised when Tanya agreed to buy everything that was suggested and racked up more than $800 on her credit card. Tanya had a bit of a sticker shock when she saw the total come up but was compelled to finish the transaction. After all, the clerk told Tanya "that dress and those stockings and those heels look so good on you you'll be thinking about not having them tomorrow and simply die." The influential girl felt the statement was **** but somehow the thought terrified her, so she purchased all of it. Her parents would surely understand. They wouldn't want her to die.

Tanya was alone in the house and spent the rest of the day doing homework and, eventually, getting ready to go to Maggie's for the dinner date. It took her a bit to figure out how to get all of the various straps of the lingerie to go on and which of the three sexy black dresses she purchased would be best for Maggie. Her makeup was all black, too, and she even added a little ankh coming off from the side of her right eye because she saw Maggie do something similar once. When she finally finished and looked in the mirror she was absolutely shocked. She was so goth. And sexy. Sexy goth. She'd never imagined herself dressed like this and it somehow worked. It made her feel confident and intimidating.

The dress was short and revealed the garters coming down to the tops of her lacey stockings. The front of her dress was a plunging v line that showed off the sides of her cleavage showing it all being held up by a thin bra. The clerk assured her it was the popular style when a lady wanted to hint that there was something even sexier to see underneath. Tanya had said she wasn't sure if that's what she wanted to communicate and the clerk simply smiled and said "oh sweetie, you said you wanted sexy, you can't get much sexier than this."

She was certain Maggie would be impressed. It took a bit of maneuvering and listening to where her parents were located, but Tanya managed to get out of the house without being seen. She drove across town to Maggie's house and crept up slowly. Her eyes were focused on Bethany's house across the street. She decides to park a little bit down the street. That way, hopefully, Bethany won't see her car. Tanya's heart was thumping as she approaches the house.
