Chapter 10 by Katnaace Katnaace

What do Ashley and Delia do next?

Makeup and Nails

"Ashley, would you mind if I touched up your makeup and did your nails?" Delia inquired and watched her daughter perk up once more.

"I would love that." Ashley answered, trying her best to make the words sound feminine. Rough and fake, Delia knew she had her work cut out for here. Nonetheless, she headed for her room. Ashley followed right behind, humming a girly tune with each step.

Compared to Ashley's room, Delia's room felt mature and feminine. The sort expected of a woman who was a mother and widow. Everything looked to be in order and with a purpose. A far cry from the mess that Ashley spent her days when not out in the world.

Heading through, the duo ended up in Delia's bathroom. Done quite plain, all things considered, it got the job done nicely.

"Ashley, could you wait here for a moment?" Delia inquired and Ashley nodded. Staring into the mirror, she just caught a glimpse of her mother step out of the room to grab a stool. Definitely for the best. For now, her attention shifted to her own reflection. A strange juxtaposition between male and female, she could only hope that it would one day swing to the latter.

"I'm going to be so cute one day." Ashley thought, not even noticing her mother enter the room. Now holding a stool, she set it down behind her daughter.

Ashley took a seat and resumed staring into the mirror. What followed, was a flurry of makeup being applied to her face.

"What do you think?"

Ashley stared even further into the mirror. Reflected back, was the face of a pretty girl.

"I like it." Ashley answered and held her hands out. While relatively clear of body hair, there were a couple places that they would need to shave done. But that wasn't what they were focusing on here. No, that would be on Ashley's nails.

Starting with some pink nail polish, Delia got to work. Ashley's nails were thankfully short, but that didn't mean she could just slack off. Giving that coat a chance to dry, she moved to a coat of clear.

"Blow carefully, dear." Delia explained and Ashley got to blowing. Taking care to not get dizzy, she did quite well in that regard.

"Am I good now?" Ashley inquired and Delia nodded, watching her daughter stand up.

The rest of the day
