The rest of the day
Taking it easy
Leaving Delia's room, Ashley made a beeline for her room. She didn't know why exactly that was the first place that came to mind, it just was.
"Where did I leave that diary?" Ashley thought and opened a drawer up. Peering inside, she was met with blue journal decorated with a floral pattern. Ashley couldn't exactly remember where she had gotten it or why she had hung onto it in the first place, but the former trainer was glad she had.
Opening it up, a deep breath followed. Ashley grabbed a blue pen and took a moment to compose her thoughts.
Dear Diary,
Yes, this was a good way to start this. But just leaving it as that was wrong. She needed to fill her diary in on what had occurred today.
Dear Diary,
Today I told mom the truth. At first, she was slightly skeptical, but I think she's coming around to my side. It makes me so happy that she has accepted the real me and not the person I was forced to portray myself as. I can only hope that this will continue into the coming days. One day, I will be able to make my dreams come true. But that's still a long time way.
Sincerely,
Ashley Ketchum
Looking up from her diary, Ashley closed it up. For now, it was best she took the rest of the day easy. That way, tomorrow she could throw everything she had in order to reach her goal.
