Jake didn't think he could last much longer without going insane. He looked up at the silhouette. {else}Jake looked up the jinn shrewdly. He knew that he needed to get past monsters to make it out of this house. The ones he had met so far were terrifying, but Jake had managed to make it past them.{endif}

"Can you make me braver?" he asked{if Feat>50} timidly{endif}.

The jinn stared at Jake thoughtfully for a second.

"I can make you braver", it conceded, "but making you fearless will cost you."
