You walk with your arm around Dex in a positive but anxious silence for a few minutes before either of you say anything. “So, you're still watching me on Facebook?”

“Yeah... I was nervous to text you, but when I saw you were coming down, I thought you might be coming to Skybar, so I figured I should text before maybe seeing you,” he replies, a little subdued.

You squeeze him to your side a little to reassure him. “I'm glad you did. The night worked out. Definitely a good end to the week.”

“Yeah, for me, too. You're the first guy that didn't go right for sex that I've gone out with since moving here. I felt so stupid that I blew it,” he gives you a quick kiss on your shoulder as you walk.

“Oh, no, that wasn't on my mind at all. I thought you thought it was... It was just really cold,” you chuckle. “Well, I mean, if you'd offered to put all my clothes in the drier and suggested we share body heat... that would have been ok.”

Dex playfully slaps your arm, “That's for the second date, Mister.”

“Is this a second date? You did get me a couple drinks. I think you're trying to take advantage of me. Definitely sounds like a date,” you tease.

“Oh, my god!” he laughs. “You're already sleeping over... I don't think I needed to put more drinks in you for that.”

“No, not at all, but let's renumber and forget the first one. Well, renumber tomorrow.”

Dex grins. “Yeah, I want tonight to be number two.” He gives you a long genuine smile. “We're here...”
