What is your goal?
Make amends.
You give a quick glance over at Kris as Susie starts looking for the remote for the TV. Kris has now turned their attention to watching Susie struggle to find the remote from under the couch cushions, their messy brown hair covering their eyes. They let out a small smile as they watch, which quickly disappears when they notice you looking. Kris clearly doesn't like you, and you can hardly blame them for that. Perhaps this is why you have come here. For now, you simply tell Susie you are here to make amends. Kris looks a bit surprised to hear you say that, but before they can say anything Susie speaks up first. "'Make amends,' huh? Heh, sounds kinda sappy, but that shouldn't be too hard to do. Just gotta find the person you need to apologize to and say sorry to them. Bam, mission accomplished." You silently wish to yourself that it will be that easy.
Just as Susie finishes saying that, she finds the remote she was looking for. "Aha, finally! Alright, Kris, you make the popcorn, and Vessel, you uhh... get yourself comfortable, I guess. We got a giant monster movie marathon tonight, and nothing is going to stop me from enjoying this." Susie says, a wide grin on her face. In hardly any time at all, Kris has a large bowl of buttery, and slightly burnt, popcorn in hand, while Susie has found the channel that is about to play the marathon. You, meanwhile, follow Susie's advice and get yourself comfortable on the couch and wait. When Kris joins you, you expect them to sit on the other side of Susie, but instead they sit right on her lap and rest their head against her neck, letting Susie's head rest comfortably on top of their own. They both seem very accustomed to this, with Kris passing some of the popcorn for Susie to eat, and Susie doing the same for Kris. You also managed to snag a few handfuls of popcorn in between Kris and Susie's much larger handfuls and watch the marathon.
The marathon contains movies of all qualities, with some being extremely cheesy and low quality, and other being much more professionally made. Still others are so bad they end up becoming funny, and some are so bland that despite the loud noises and the destruction, you almost end up falling asleep through them. Before the end of the movie marathon, you notice that Kris and Susie are both fast asleep, with not even a single unpopped kernel left in the bowl. You are also feeling quite tired, so with the movies still playing, you decide to follow suit, closing your eyes and embracing sleep.
