Pursue the Bard

You smirked at the bound barbarian, his binds so tight that he couldn’t even wriggle inside them.

“You seem quite secure. I doubt you’d even make any progress freeing yourself before I have handled your friends,” you taunted as you sauntered casually past the barbarian. You would deal with him later.

The bard seemed like a good first place to start. You could use entertainment beyond just today, and a skilled musician could be useful. Amongst the footsteps running from your location, you heard one that was followed by the unmistakable shake of a tambourine. You grinned and followed those sets through the halls before arriving at the banquet hall with a scared-looking Bard quivering beneath a table.

“What to do with him now?” you thought as you entered the room.
