How do you reply to that
Make Adelina a counter offer
Adelina watches your considering her plea, and notices that your eyes never leave her body. "Surely, I can do something to please My Lord? And gods and goddesses as my witnesses, I will never tell on My Lord."
In her haste to convince you, Adelina revealed herself as a pagan. Interesting, but it wouldn't change anything.
"I can promise you a home and a new life," you tell Adelina. "But you will have to leave this place."
"But I still owe the lord the rent. Plus, my husband and my daughter are buried here,"
"I will pay for your rent. But know this, the same problem will repeat itself next season, unless you remarry." You point at the bed. "Then, when you remarry, will you tell your new husband that the bed is something that you shared with your dead husband? Or will you burn it and get a new one made?"
Her offering herself to you is a contradiction, but you're a nice king.
"I will help you," you say, "But you will have to take the step forward,"
