Maintenance Chute

The chute continuously sends out a gentle metalic breeze. It descends at a 160 or so degree angle, and normally there are rungs of a ladder to help go down safely; however, for whatever reason they're gone, meaning that a trip to maintenance, at least at this entrance, is a one way trip. The prospect of being stuck in the maintenance shafts on an abandoned station does not fill you with confidence, but it may be necessary. After all, the station's core computer is somewhere down there, which may give some information on what's going on.
