Who are you?

You are Adelyn Blake, twenty-six years old, commander of the rogue vessel called the Emerald Grace. You were born in a backwater planet called New Hampton, which then you fled, bored of the life of an ordinary person. You also took your parent's account card, while you were at it, and used it to buy your own vessel, ready to embark on your ventures.

Besides: You are not alone in this life!

Elena Harper, your childhood best friend, practically fled after you the moment she realized what was going on. Despite a year younger than you, she knows you better than you know yourself, meaning there is not a thing that you could hide from her. And thus, as you boarded the Emerald Grace, ready to leave everything behind, you found her knocking on the docking ramp's door, begging you to take her with you. Of course you let her in.

Since then, the two of you live a life of complete freedom. Free from the people you had to put up with. Free from the burden of work. Free from the responsibilities of adult life. Granted, the Emerald Grace is not the fastest ship out there. Nor it is the most reliable one. But she is able to carry you from one planet to the next, and she tends to land in one piece on just about any of your destinations. Could one wish for more in the quest for freedom?
