Chapter 5 by All_Caps_No_Sleep All_Caps_No_Sleep

Wizards? Fairies? Knights? Warriors? Mages? Healers?

Mage

Opening up your skill tree in a flash, you find your branches severely limited. BALANCE and CHARM were all you had at your disposal. Useless non-combative skills that would not serve your current situation.

Your disapointment quickly became destracted however as the cries of the human healer class was peeking above the sound of fantasy battle taking place. Chairs crumbling, tables flipping, firey embers raining down, all mixed to the sound of blunt metal soaring through the air trying to reach targets blessed with irritable swiftness. But the healers descending cry into blisful madness reined supreme, the straight fringed purple haired succubus laughing from her dominate seat above.

Putting away your skill tree you notice additional health has been added since your level up, +16/20 stood your new total. However witnessing all of these experienced fighters with all of their ranging status effects, swinging and blasting around you, it was still certain **** if you were hit only once.

The worst thing to be now was be greedy or careless.

A fate that was currently unfolding for the healer, vibrating on the floor. The peached up succubus pining her to the ground could see her work was done, in a flash she sprung back into the air, harassing wizards, stealing their books and dodging the small lightning arches breaching from their silver staffs. From your low level you had a better view of this poor broken healer who suddenly cracked a small smile as her gyrating seized, gone was the original player character, left registered as a level 22 enemy.

She staggered slowly to her feet, the bottom half of her long white gown ripped to shreds exposing her strong legs, pale to the hips. A short dash of white pubes layed moistened and grooling, centered between cool thick thighs. Healers never had any provocative outfits in which to show off their boxum bodies underneath, but they had an innocent charm to them, making fan favourites from their hidden silhouettes (less being more you guessed) something you needed more of.

Keeping a healers boundful grace, she flicked her healing dust into the air, no longer white and sparkly, rather it was a cloud of fine light pink. The gentle mist found her swarming allies mid-flight healing them, aquiring small additional traits, temporarily boosting their low base stats.

The short winged succubi rejoiced to the added assistance of their more powerful ally, their confidence in swooping attacks grew permanent as a result, much to the dismay of the struggling player characters, as if they had been stalling for time. You could see prep time was of great importance in this game, all classes struggled to make the shift to adapt against a magic primary type after expecting a different foe.

"We need to get outside!" Shouted the red haired mage. Her orange bubble shield being progressively worn down by swift succubi strikes, the result of trying to dispense her mana evenly for herself and for her low level knights, just reaching three quarters of their health back. "Will my bronze sword be any good!?" One of her knights shouted over the chaos, "I have this gemstone i got at the beginning! I can equip it for an additional +5 FROST damage but I'll lose -2 CRIT, is it worth it?!" Shouted the other.

"just stay where you are! And... awaite... awaite further instructions!" She snapped, struggling to keep up with all her spells in play.

Knowing the restaurant very well you are aware of multiple routes to escape, with your upgrade still pending, you are just as determined to hold onto your progress as anyone else.

You make a brave decision and try to communicate with the elven mage by crawling over to her. "Huh?! Garla! A succubus on your left!" Shouted one of the knights mistaking you for another succubi servant. The mage was swift to act but assumed the threat would be much higher and not crawling along the ground adjusting a maids outfit at both ends.

"WHERE!!! she screamed enraged, like an angry parent mad at her time wasting children, seeking a target fiercely with her left hand. Now or never, "There's an exit behind you, it leads out back through the kitchen!" You yell desperately, hoping she won't look down and smite you instantly.

The tall elf gazes down and assumes you are an automated voice line, used to give slow players hints. She heeds your words but is insulted by her presumed need for help, she kicks you away from her +11/20, "as soon as you are healed we are out through the back!"

"What out our XP farmi..."

"SILENCE!!! I'm not losing all my progress for this!" The elf yells, her voiced stressed due to exhaustion of all her special abilities. The two knights checked their health bars +51/65 for both of them, looking worried at each other for their chances. Even higher leveled wizards were struggling greatly, each landed hit was worthless under healers mist, CRIT IMMUNITY being their worst nightmare, combined with the fact most normal healers were now hesitant to even get near the enemy.

For just a moment you lost hope. 2851 times you've died in this village to all manner of carelessness and bais A.I. But enough is enough, no matter how confusing the rules of combat may seem you weren't intent on giving up.

Looking at the wreckage before you, the path to the kitchen would be difficult, everything had a monstrous amount of damage associated with it. You opened you skill tree up and found you actually had two skill points to spend.

But what would it be?

Charm? balance?
