Madeline's Crew put up a good fight--but expended a lot of ammunition
Madeline dove for cover.
{if Tack's Silence > 0} Tack did too. {endif} They both fought fiercely. Madeline fired away, so did those armed with guns and the rare laser weapon. A few made daring charges. Some were hyped up on Jet or Psycho. Those were the only ones with a chance of getting engaged. Those too slow or those who hesitated were cut down by the attackers.
Eventually Madeline was able to drive off the NCR patrol. But the expenditure of ammo, stims, and other gear was clear.
What's next?
