Lyara sneaks down low

Using the the woodland environment to her advantage Lyara silently moved through the woodlands environment, from bush to bush slowly getting closer to her foe. Being careful to avoid the Ogres sight the young adventurer kept to the shadows knowing that she had to end this quickly, she did not want to have a one on one fight with this creature no matter how dumb these creatures are, that club still looked deadly.

Crouching down into a near by bush Lyara moved to creep forward when “SNAP” a twig under her boot, sounding ten times louder in the quiet woodland environment. “Shit!” She cursed under her breath, ducking further into the bush as the Orgre stiffened in alarm sniffing the air around him.

“He can smell me!” Lyara thought to herself, unsheathing her sword preparing to fight. The heroine watched as the pale grey monster scan its surroundings suspiciously, still sniffing the air. Finally it seemed the ogre had caught her scent when it started moving towards where she was hiding, still smelling around as if it was still not aware of the adventurers location.

Eventually the Ogre stopped right in front of the shrub Lyara had hidden herself in causing the woman to panic a little, but what caught her off guard was when the pale monster bent down to smell the same bush she was in. Lyara could only look on completely dumbfounded as the creature proved its stupidity after taking another large sniff, its face getting closer to the shrub seemingly not noticing the human woman inside.

“Oh fuck it” Lyara thought, completely over this whole situation. She lunged her sword right into the Ogre’s face, piercing it deeply causing the creature to yell out in pain falling backwards motionless.

“It’s dead!” Lyara looked at the downed beast incredulously. “That… was easier than expected.” She said to herself. Quickly putting the situation to the back of her mind the young woman swiped the key to the main gate from the now dead Ogre and steeled herself to enter the courtyard of the fortress.

Stepping through the gateway the courtyard looked a little overgrown and abandoned. But that thought was proven wrong when she heard voices and footsteps approaching, causing Lyara to jump into cover.
