Lunch

I appear back in the popular kids spot, fortunately it's still empty. I start walking to the cafeteria and hear the bell. I sit down in the mostly empty cafeteria, thankful to Asami for making lunch. I open it up and start eating. There's two chicken sandwiches and a apple. I start eating when I remember I didn't buy chicken slices. I start thinking to myself. Asami really is a good cook, cooking and slicing chicken breasts. And Luna is strong. I love how she acts. She behaves like a affectionate puppy. My thoughts are interrupted by an angry Dick. I've finished eating and start packing the trash together when Dick slams his hands down on the table.

"Eric." He growls. Literally growling while he says my name.

"Yes Dick?" I ask smiling. I do this both to enrage him and because I know his plan. He was quiet with his growl earlier while he used to shout getting peoples attention before humiliating his target. Now though he wants me to beat him up, to throw the first punch and get caught on camera. However I'm going to try and turn the tables. "You need something?" I continue being nice and smiling. Loving his reaction of his face getting red with anger.

"Yes. Lets chat." He says, not growling anymore and he sits down. "Your going to give the camera back." He demands. I laugh while moving my hands like he told a joke.

"What camera?" I ask faking a dumbfounded voice.

"You know the one! You took it the day before yesterday!" He raises his voice at this, getting a few peoples attention.

"Pardon? I didn't take any cameras. Do you have the right guy?" I ask still using my ignorant voice. He grits his teeth and I think I can see every muscle he has clench.

"Yes me and my friends saw you take it. Now give it back before I take this further." I tilt my head and close my eyes pretending to think for a few moments.

"Nope, sorry I don't remember this. I remember you and your pals beating me up though. I do have to admit stopping before any bruising was smart." I say, the crowd that slowly formed around completely believing it, eager to see another fight since I'm one of the few who fight back. Dick slams down on the table.

"Give it here, you damn nerd!" He almost shouts.

"Sorry, but I don't have it. And shouting wont make it magical appear." Hearing this he loses his temper and stands. He rushes toward me and swings. Even though I can dodge it I let him hit me. I purposely jump backwards and slam into another table making it seem like he knocked me into it.

Dick walks up to me with a mocking grin on his face.

"Come on loser. You gonna fight back?" He motions for me to do so and I stand up, walk right in front of him and stop.

"No, but feel free to continue and remember we're on camera so smile!" I smile and wink at him. I see the color drain from his face. He lowers his fist and I just walk past him. The crowd murmurs, shocked at what happened. The bell rings and they start slowly dispersing. I leave with the biggest smile since I started school. I go to my science class but nothing interesting happens. It's just a boring class with Ms. Jack, who's known as the hawk for always knowing when someone's not paying attention. Once the bell rings I pack up and leave for my study class. Study class is just a 30 minute period where you go to your first period class and are able to go to your other teachers with signed slips. This time though I'll be using it to cast Augment Body. I use it three times on my chest.
