Lunch Time Brawl

I enter the large and sterile cafeteria that if it wasn’t a prison cafeteria would have probably been flagged Health & Safety over a dozen times by now. I see there are two lines, both of which are very long. I suspect if I join a line I may make myself an easier target for those who wish to punish me for my perceived crime against children, though no matter what I will get challenged for it and I need the food.

Let’s hope I can at least finish my meal before a brawl begins.

I get in the back of the right of the two lines due to it being shorter, not really caring what is being offered. Not even a minute later I hear a group behind me chuckle as they whisper to each other the news of what the Warden told them and about my supposed crime. “Hey, you Mr. Aphelion right?” A loud but slow voice asked from behind me.

“Yeah, and what’s it to you?” I asked him while I stayed calm, still facing away from him.

“You the guy that molested kids right?” The thug asked as the people around us began to turn to us. “Hey look at me when I am talking to you!”

Almost like they knew what was coming everyone, even the guards though they made no attempt to intervene, turned to us. Finally, sensing what is about to come, I turned to him. As I suspected the thug was very large, muscular, and looks as dumb as rocks. “Was that so hard?” The man asked sarcastically.

“Yeah actually, I had to refrain from my ears popping from your idiotic whining.” I grinned as I said this. If they want to fight, then I better have some fun provoking him right?

“You’ll pay for that!” The man roared as he went to swing at me to which I deftly dodge but one of his friends has been sneakily sneaking behind me and struck my back when I dodge the big man’s strike.

‘Damn, he got me good. Now that I know now…’ I thought as I turned to the thug’s friend as he rushes to tackle me. I bring up my leg and kick in the chin knocking him to the floor, as I am focused on him however the thug grabbed me from behind and suplex me onto the floor.

“Augh! My neck!” I screamed as I wiggle out of his grip. ‘Dang it! I can’t take them both on.’

“Break it up! Break it up!” A hoarse male voice commanded. Finally, it seems the guards had **** but to interfere. However, it only seemed to anger the big man as he tried one last time to throw me around as he grabbed my leg. As he was doing so we were both grabbed from behind a group of guards creating an opening for me to kick in his nose as I was dragged away.

“Ah! He broke my nose!” The thug screamed as he tasted the blood dripping into his mouth. “This isn’t over you bitch! When we both get out I will kill you!” He screamed as we were dragged out of separate entrances of the cafeteria, him to the infirmary and me well…
