Luke is Nice

Throughout the day you notice Luke trying really hard to be nice to you. You start cleaning and then he’ll ask if he can do it. Eventually you sit back in your arm chair and watch TV as he cleans around.

You can’t help but feel a bit more in control, “Could you grab me a beer?”

“Yes, daddy,” Luke says without hesitation.

You don’t think he realizes what he just said, “Did you just call me daddy?”

“Yeah... well you are my daddy,” Luke admits, grabbing a beer from the fridge.

“Just you always call me dad, or asshole,” You say.

“I’m sorry about that,” Luke says with a frown, but then gives a smirk, “Ever since we moved here I just think I appreciate you more. Ya know?”

“Sure,” you say taking the beer.

“Would it be alright if I cook something for diner tonight?” Like asks.

“Go for it,” you say. And with that Luke runs into the kitchen and puts on a frilly apron.

It takes a while, but when dinner time rolls around you Luke calls you in. You see a full steak dinner.

“Just how you like it,” Luke says, sitting down across from you eating a small salad.

“No steak for you?” You ask digging into your steak.

“I’m watching my figure,” Luke says.
