Luckily...

Shepard heard the chatter between Kenneth and Gabriella but both had their backs to her.

She tiptoed down the stair where she was relieved to see it was, as usual, empty. She found the latter to the ducts easily.

With a sigh she began crawling through them and up the ship.

"How the hell did Joker do this without breaking anything?!"

She was surprised the ducts were kept so clean. Must have been a newer recruit on the ship that go stuck with cleanup.

Still it was never lost on her that she was naked and basically a rat on her own ship.

Several long minutes, and a string of curse words, later she reached the next level. Right outside the war room.

She peaked out of the duck and saw the meeting area was empty. But now she had a bigger issue. Then other duct that most likely led up to her quarters was inside the war room.

She new the doorway with the guards was a no go so she would have to take her chances in the room.

She pressed herself tightly against the wall and hit the door and was stunned at the sight.
