Lucas [movie]

Lucas tries to somehow distract himself from today's events and not think about Markie. She was no longer the girl he had fallen in love with, and Markie had told Olivia everything? Olivia obviously knows everything. That bitch! Markie is a whore who deserves to be fucked.... Where do these thoughts come from?

Lucas walks down a dimly lit street lined with off-campus frat houses while listening to music from his headphones. He notices the white bedsheets hanging outside the frat houses, spray-painted with messages like "FRESHMAN GIRLS DRINK FREE" and "MUSTACHE RIDES: $5." Despite the boisterous party scene, the street was eerily empty, and Lucas was the only person out and about.

Suddenly, a whispering voice caught his attention. "Lucas..."

He stopped, pulled out an earplug and listened intently, but nothing could be heard. He shrugged his shoulders, put the earplug back in and walked on. A beat later, the same voice whispered, a little louder this time, "Lucas...".

Lucas turned around quickly, his eyes scanning the area behind him, but there was no one to be seen. Startled, he turned around and his face went pale - the white sheets in front of the fraternity houses had changed. Now it read, one after the other: "TRUTH OR DARE, LUCAS?"

Confused, he closed his eyes and opened them again, but the mocking question remained. As he turned quickly to leave, he bumped into Olivia.

"Lucas!?" she exclaimed.

He glanced back at the sheets, their message still taunting him.

"Are you all right?" asked Olivia anxiously.

"Did you do that?" asked Lucas, pointing at the sheets.

Olivia followed his gaze, visibly taken aback by his accusation. "They've already been hung up since the rush."

Lucas turned to her in disbelief. "Can't you see that?"

Olivia looked at the sheets again and realized what was going on. "It's 'truth or dare', isn't it? I can't see it... But you can. The same thing happened to me."

Lucas stared at her speechlessly, the reality of the situation dawning on him.

In Olivia's room, she connected her cell phone to her laptop and imported all the footage and photos from her recent trip to Mexico and the old church.

"Maybe there's something in the video I took that can help explain it," she said, sitting down on the bed with Lucas as they waited for the import to complete.

"I don't understand how this could have happened," Lucas said with confusion and fear in his voice.

"I don't understand it either. But it has happened. And now it's your turn," Olivia replied.

Before Lucas could react, he cried out in pain and grabbed his forearm. From his perspective, the words "TRUTH OR DARE?" had been carved into his skin by an invisible ****!

"Lucas!" exclaimed Olivia, startled. She looked at his arm, but saw nothing.

"It's asking me again," Lucas moaned, writhing in pain.

"You have to answer!" Olivia urged.

"Truth!" Lucas cried out, and the pain stopped. He looked at his arm, the carving was no longer there. They waited in anxious silence.

Suddenly Lucas looked behind Olivia's head. The question was scrawled in blood on the wall: "WHAT DO YOU REALLY FEEL FOR OLIVIA?"

He stared at her, but Olivia saw nothing.

"What does it say?" she asked.

"'How do you really feel about Olivia?" Lucas repeated, resignation in his voice.

Their eyes met in a tense moment.

"Just answer it. And be honest," Olivia said softly.

Lucas exhaled, nervous but determined. "I've had feelings for her since we met. Sometimes, I wonder what it would be like if I were with her instead of Markie and if she would be a bit more shy. I wonder what sleeping next to her or kissing her would feel like."

Olivia's heart raced as she heard the words she had secretly longed to hear. Their undeniable attraction was in the air and tinged with tension.

So without thinking Olivia walked up to Lucas, pressed her face to his and gave him a long, deep French kiss. At first Lucas was completely overwhelmed by Olivia, but then he gave in to the feeling and returned the kiss. When Lucas and Olivia kissed, it was as if two souls were merging in dance. Their tongues moved tenderly, gently exploring each other's new territory. From that moment on, they knew they were meant to be together.

Then the ringing of the laptop broke the spell - the import was complete.

Lucas broke away from Olivia and pushed her slightly away from him. "We shouldn't..." Lucas said softly. Olivia also realized what she had done and looked down at the floor, her head red. Olivia wondered what she was actually doing. She was kissing her best friend's boyfriend, who was like a brother to her. Olivia didn't want to talk about this awkward situation and instead focused on the laptop.

"Let's see what's in here," Olivia said, still slightly embarrassed, scrolling through a few photos until she stopped at one of the group before they played truth or dare in the Mexican church. She kept glancing at Lucas, and when he looked at her, she quickly tried to look away. She had never seen Lucas like this before; he was more of a friend than a lover. And when had she become so shy? She wondered what Lucas had said in response to the truth because she couldn't remember.

Something clicked in her head. "We need to gather everyone," she said in an uncertain voice.
