Love, Chaos, and Dinner

A/N: okay, maybe not so much on the love part. But I couldn't resist using Teatro Zinzanni's slogan. If you've never been, go. It's worth every penny. We will definitely have chaos and dinner, so away we go!

You and Taiga enter the house to see the table already set and dinner prepared for three people. There is a problem though. A big problem. There's not nearly enough food food on the table for the woman who's just dragged you out on a date.

Liz jestures to the table and says, "Please, have a seat and eat." You look at Liz, "I would love to. And thanks for preparing what you've already made, but I need to make some more." You scurry into the kitchen as Taiga sits at the dining room table. She looks upon the meager (in her eyes, though it is enough for a regular woman of her stature) helping of food and says, "Yeah, thanks for the appetizer! Hope you got some more food soon Shirou!"

You shiver and barge your way into the kitchen as Taiga begins hungrily wolfing down nearly everything on the table. By herself. "Please Master. Allow me to serve you." Liz pleads as you begin cooking. "It is my fault for not warning you about Fuji-nee's appetite. So please, rest easy."

Liz looks uncomfortable as you fire up the stove and chop vegetables and meats in prep for cooking. "You okay, Liz?" Liz shakes her head. "Please. It is my duty to serve you." You shake your head like a stubborn mule. "Don't worry about it. But you can help tonight if you want to." Liz nods and looks a little more relaxed. "I will accept your compromise. For now."

The pair of you make quick work preparing a normal sized meal for the Emiya household, with enough added for Liz as well. And by a normal sized meal, it's a feast. Most of it Taiga will eat, but you like to make sure everyone gets their fill. After stuffing her face, Taiga helps you and Liz put away the groceries before heading out for the evening to her home.

As night settles in, you and Rider prepare to head out for the evening. "Heading out, Master Shirou?" Liz asks. You nod in response. "Yeah." Liz nods. "You going to fight in the war tonight, aren't you? Do be careful, Illya and I care for you a great deal. Come back safe." "Thanks Liz. We'll let you know how things go so you can tell Illya."
