Look to Kendra for an explanation

Dumbfounded, you look at your girlfriend, hoping she can shed some light on this situation. To your astonishment, she just bursts out laughing.

“Can you believe this?” she says, doubling over as she laughs. “This is just like the plot of some too-crazy-to-believe TV show!”

Beside you, Sarah begins to chuckle, as well.

“I don’t see what is so funny,” you reply, irritated at the two girls.

“Are you kidding, Connor?” asks Sarah. “Here we are, trying our best to behave, but we’re all just a bunch of sluts, aren’t we? Without even trying, we’re four swingers now, trading partners and bed hopping!”

You begin to see the girls’ point, even if you don’t join them in their laughter.

Chet looks with uncertainty between you and the girls. “Listen, I really didn’t know it was Kendra. I was sound asleep, and the next thing I know, some girl is riding me. I just figured it was Sarah, but it’s not like she gave me much of a chance to ask for an I.D.”

You look to Sarah and see she is nowhere as outraged as you are. Her eyes are bright, and if her hand were not covering her mouth, you know you would see a barely-suppressed laugh trying to escape her lips.

Putting your hands on your hips, you ask, “Am I the only one who doesn’t think this is hilarious? This whole situation is getting out of control!”

Sarah crosses the distance between you and takes your hands. Looking you in the eyes, she says, “Oh, lighten up, Connor. It’s not like any of this was planned, but it has sort of broken the ice between all of us, wouldn’t you say? Now that we’ve broken the sexual tension, we can either pretend nothing happened, or we can explore the possibilities. Which is it going to be?”
