Look over at those sparring students

Hey, what about those two students that were practising with the pads? They're still over in that corner, going at it with each other -- you look over as Cameron practices some basic strikes against your staff, which you just need to hold in place for now.

They're pretty good, actually -- it's not just basic punching combinations, they're working in knees and elbows and kicks as well. HIGH kicks! Every strike against the pads reverberates, and you can hear it even though you're so far away. Warrior students are powerful! The combinations they're doing are super long and fast, but you don't notice any patterns or repeating parts, which might mean that the entire thing is being strung together on the fly. That'd be crazy.

As you're looking over, and Cameron lands another hit on your outheld staff, the striker pauses in her ****. Panting heavily, with her back to you, she slowly turns and makes direct eye contact with you over her shoulder. Her face has a few small beads of sweat on it, but you feel like you recognise- oh. Oh, no, this is Talia, the white-haired girl who you made the deal to. The girl holding the pads is Penelope, the other member of the Argent Sorority and the girl who was eating a cookie.

Gulp. Guess they meant it when they said they'd be keeping an eye on you, huh? They were here before you even knew class was gonna be in the gymnasium.... and Talia hits really hard!
