Long explanation

“So what happened?” Chloe asked as they made it to the junkyard back in Arcadia Bay.

They all sat down and Rachel began to explain. “After you told me about my father, I ended up meeting my birth mom, Sera. I ended up running into Frank. I uh… I started getting into ****, unfortunately. Really bad ****. I turned to Mr Jefferson for help and he was going to help me. He hooked me up with Nathan. And the next thing I knew I was in some weird dark room. A really fucked up place. Mr Jefferson… he’d **** me and take… pictures of me. I was so ashamed. But Nathan… Nathan believe it or not saved my life. He helped fake my **** so I could get away from Jefferson. He pretended to overdose me and dragged me back to this place. He buried a dead doe instead of my body so that whoever unburied it would assume I was dead. I fled to Frank. Frank brought me to Seattle as promised and then went back to Arcadia. I made him promise not to tell anyone. Sorry, but not even you, Chloe. I couldn’t face you. I couldn’t… not in the state that I was in. In Seattle, I used my dad’s money much to my dismay. I used it to get better. I attended AA meetings and everything. And then, after a bit… I decided to return to Arcadia. And here we are.”

Chloe’s and Max’s jaws dropped. “Wow… Nathan SAVED you?!” Chloe said in shock. “I thought… oh God… you missed… you missed a lot…”

“I used to have the ability to rewind time,” Max said. “Past tense. And with that power I busted Mr Jefferson. We found your body, or at least what we assumed was your body. We didn’t want to look….”

Max went on to explain everything. From David saving her to the alternate timeline Max ended up in and how Nathan and Victoria had at one point was murdered by Mr Jefferson but were later saved. “Shit,” Rachel said. “Your adventure was crazier than mine. I heard about the storm. I was worried… And even the decision to go back in time and sacrifice Chloe… I can’t imagine how hard that was.”

Chloe nodded. “Luckily almost everyone seems to have survived the storm. Even Steph who by the way, apparently has a new girlfriend. She’s in Colorado. Though I’ve heard she might visit Arcadia soon with her new girlfriend.”

“That’s cool,” Rachel said. “So I guess… I guess there’s still one thing we need to discuss.”

“What?” Chloe asked.

“Where we stand,” Rachel said. “I mean… I know you two have history. And I would never compete with that, but… we also have history. So, Chloe… what do you want to do?”

Chloe’s eyes widened. She hadn’t even thought about what she would do with both Max and Rachel in her life.
