Long Road Ahead

When the doctor walked into the room, he looked at the girls in confusion.

"Are you guys his Harem or something" he joked.

"Yes" said Lyn, who was dead serious. Well, that just makes things extremely awkward.

"Anyways, I'm going to have to keep you overnight, but you should be able to go home tomorrow" he said with a smile.

"That's great" exclaimed Heather.

"Fortunately, you have very good health insurance, so you should be covered. You're a very lucky person" he said. Yeah, I really am.

"I'll be back to check on you" he said before leaving the room. I looked over at Mio, who was sitting in the corner.

"Mio, it's not your fault" I told her.

"I love you" she blurted out as she stood up.

"I'm in love with you. I really love you" she said as she walked over and took my hands. I looked into her beautiful eyes and kissed her. When we pulled away, I cupped her cheek.

"I love you too" I said. I could see her shudder and smile. I guess I was smooth.

"Well then, welcome to our relationship" I said, making her giggle before looking away.

"My parents can't know" she said. That could be a future problem, but I'll deal with that later. Hell, my parents could be a future problem.

But all I care about right now is who is right in front of me.

I walked out on my crutches, surrounded by everyone I love.

It's a long road a head of me, but I can do this.
