Long Purple Hair → Purple Tentacle-Hair

I'm not really sure, so I decide to just kind of 'shuffle' and let the Prompt progress the theme. It highlights her hair, so I figure it's going to be a relatively small change... and then it exchanges the phrase 'long purple' for 'purple tentacle-' and I've a few moments to consider that this may have been a mistake before things begin to happen.

All the color in mom's hair sinks into the ends of her ponytail, leaving it silver everywhere else. Then the ponytail darkens and turns glossy and... viscous as it starts to transform into some kind of slimy tendril that reminds me vaguely of a Twi'Lek's but... stops before it even reaches the base of her skull so... there's just a pair of purple tendrils dangling from the end of her ponytail.

Considering what just happened, the various other minor changes aren't that notable. I suppose the most significant of them would be mom's expression firming up with seriousness and... either determination or irritation. It's hard to tell from this angle.
