Lois and her mysterious source

Lois is given a tip about a plan involving Lex Luthor and a Scientist working in Portal Technology.

She's interrupted at a meeting with the woman and both are grabbed.

The sleazy henchman strip them down to their lingerie- just for fun! - and tie them up!

Superman stops the duo from using their device to raid resources from another Universe.

Before he gets to the ladies, however, the lights go out in their room and someone lets them loose.

The source vanishes and then Superman arrives to take Lois home.

'Must have been Batman,' she figures, and doesn't mention it to the Hero.

In the aftermath, she finds no trace of the woman.
It's like she never existed.
