Lisa wakes first . . . the appointment comes soon.

Lisa woke up her eye, to the bright sunlight and sat up in bed with a warm smile on her face. Lisa knew that she hadn't been able to sleep well last night, but she could barely remember the reason why anymore. All she knew was that her appointment with the doctor was in a few hours and that she had to get ready. Lisa looked down at Jonny's sleeping body and gently kissed his cheek before be turned in his sleep. He looked so peaceful, not at all like the vicious demon that Lisa knew he was on the inside. Lisa debated waking him up, but decided against it. He deserved a few more minutes of sleep. She gently got off the bed and went into the bathroom, dropping her nightgown onto the floor as she turned on the hot shower.

Once she was done, Lisa examined herself in the mirror, smiling at her reflection in a content way. She was a beautiful woman who had aged very well, had a lover who was nearly all powerful, and was now going to have a second chance at being a mother. Could anything go wrong? Suddenly, Lisa's reflection appeared to laugh and Lisa jumped back, startled. When she looked back at the mirror it was just her surprised face again. Lisa frowned. Was this a side affect of her demonic pregnancy or was she just tired?

"I don't think it's either, honey" her reflection said, causing Lisa to jump in shock. She should really be used to things like this happening around her since, Jonny came into her life, but something told Lisa that this was just one of those things she'd never really be able to adapt to. She was, after all, only human. "Oh honey, don't kid yourself" her reflection said to her, "you're far from human now that your carrying Jonny's little package."

"What are you?" Lisa asked her reflection in a quiet voice, not wanting to wake up Jonny. Her reflection smiled at her.

"Why, I'm you, Lisa. Or at least a part of you. You see, you're carrying a baby that is incredibly powerful. The child of an alpha demon and a human. Because of that, there's a bit of a power build up in your body right now. As your child grows in you, it will only become stronger. Your subconscious mind created me using the small part of your baby's power that you can currently access. I'm you in every way, but I know how to handle a demonic pregnancy. You'll face challenges in this that you will need help with, trust me. I'm that helper. Consider me a built in nanny for when things get too out of hand. for example, when your child decides it's too cramped in your body and decides to hop right out of there and into the nearest available meatsuit, you'll be begging me to help calm the situation. Remember your dream last night? That was a vision of what things will be like once the baby can access even a fourth of it's power."

Lisa frowned. She remembered enough of the dream to know that what her reflection was saying was right. "How did you end up in my bathroom mirror?" She asked, curiously.

The other Lisa shrugged. "After you had the dream, you came in here. You were a wreck with worry so I guess you subconsciously ejected me and I got stuck in here. It's not so bad, but I'd really rather be back in the back of your mind so that I can help you when you need it. Please let me out?" She asked, putting her hand on the edge of the mirror. Lisa frowned, unsure what to do. She wanted to raise her baby by herself, but this did seem like it would be helpful when things get too stressful. Lisa had to admit that Jonny wouldn't be home all the time, and the baby may even prove too difficult for him.

"You'll only take me over if you absolutely need to?" Lisa asked, still having a nagging feeling that this wasn't safe.

The eyes of her reflection glowed purple suddenly, causing Lisa to be a little taken aback. "Of course, honey. Why would I lie to you? I'm you" she said with a grin on her face, putting her hand on the edge of the mirror.
