Lisa removes her gunbelt.

Lisa looked from John Delvers to the bald spectacled Lyncher. He seemed to be waiting for a signal from his boss.

Lisa began unbuckling her gunbelt with her left hand. She then tossed the gunbelt away from her. Her colt fell from the holster and landed a foot in front of her.

"That won't stop me killing you." Delvers called out.

"Then I'll just have to kill you first." Lisa called back.

Delvers and the other Lynchers started laughing.

"Fine. Have it your way." Delvers said.

Lisa risked a quick look around. She noticed Billy and Beth watching her intently. Delvers and the other Lynchers were largely ignoring her. She turned her full attention to Delvers.

Delvers gave a slight nod and the bald spectacled Lyncher threw the bottle high in the air. The bottle smashed onto the floor. Only Lisa and Delvers acted.

Delvers drew his twin colts, intent on killing the 2 guys on the ends first. Lisa dropped to her knee and snatched up her colt.

Seeing Lisa drop to her knee, Delvers attempted to adjust his aim. 1 shot passed over Lisa's right shoulder, then other grazed her left temple. Ignoring the pain Lisa took aim and fired. Her shot hit Delvers between the eyes.

The Lynchers looked on stunned as John Delvers fell down dead. Lisa stood up, her left hand going to the graze on her head. She trained her colt on the other Lynchers.

"Anyone else?" Lisa challenged them.

A Lyncher tried to bring his winchester to bare on Lisa. Lisa fired again, despatching the Lyncher as effectively as she had Delvers. The other Lynchers offered no resistance.

"Lose the winchesters and gunbelts." Lisa ordered.

The Lynchers put down their winchesters and removed their gunbelts. The towns people started to fill the street. A number of weapons were now trained on the Lynchers. Some recovered the weapons relinquished by the Lynchers.

Billy collected Delvers twin colts and gun belts. Beth hurried to Lisa to see if she was ok.

"I'm fine." Lisa told Beth with a smile. "Except for a killer headache."
