You picture Lisa instantly in a cheerleader costume. Of course, she had been a cheerleader, you thought. "So how come we are both single now, eh?" Christ. You didn't really know what to say.

She stared past you, "Oh well. After high school I was living with the school's footballteam's star player. However, that didn't turn out how I had hoped." "Well let's just say", Lisa continued, "he didn't think I was enough. And when I found out about it, I decided to call it quits."

Lisa looked at her plate in front of her.

Trying to restore some of the mood, you tried to steer her back to the here and now and to happier thoughts.

"What a fuckup, I would never need anyone else if I were with you."
