Link Finds The Ring (Tears Of The Kingdom)

It's been a few years since Link and Zelda defeated Calamity Ganon, and even now Link found himself needing to defeat Ganon... This time with Zelda missing and the kingdom he helped build back up seemingly crumbling to the ground. With the help of Rauru he was able to regain some strength and after talking with Purah he's started what seemed to be a long journey.

Now armed with some weaponry and on a mission, he finds himself in a fight with a familiar type of foe.

Quickly Link rolls out of the way of the wild swing of a bokoblin. The beasts have returned along with Ganon, and already they've built their camps. It squeals and growls at him, slashing a sword once again in his direction. Link readies his rudimentary shield and parries the attack, thrusting his sword forward into the creature's gut. It looks down in surprise before succumbing to the wound, dropping its loot on the ground.

In the distance, a locked chest glows a bright yellow, signifying the end of all its defenders. Link smiles and walks forward to claim his prize.

Kneeling down and unlocking the container, he finds a plume of pink smoke poof out and into the surrounding area before dissipating. He coughs lightly, waving his hand around to dispelling the smoke quicker. Once it's clear, all that's left in the chest is what looks like a small golden ring...

Disregarding the strange fact that a bunch of bokoblins were guarding what is obviously a design of more intelligent creatures, Link reaches in and grabs the ring, observing the craftsmanship before slipping it onto his finger. He figures it could be worth some rupees, and continues on his way.

As he marches on, the hero pulls out the Purah Pad, examining the map of Hyrule. Despite only being partially filled in, he knows the land well. He needs to visit each of the four major regions... But for now he figures first he'll go to-
